I'm Jade!
I have been refinishing furniture for five years now! Three years part time and two years full time. They have been the best years of my life.
I spent many years working in a stressful job, in the corporate world. I struggled with my mental health, my physical health and the guilt that I wasn't able to be there for my kids, the way that I wanted to be.
One day, in the midst of COVID lockdowns, I decided that I'd had enough and I resigned from my job. I took my passion and side hustle for refinishing furniture, and turned it into my full time business. I was so scared and afraid to take that leap of faith, but I just did it and never looked back
I'm so proud to say it was a success. I was able to be there for my kids when they were sick, heal my mental and physical health and find my own personal self again. I was able to do what I love, earn an income and inspire others. However, the best part to me was the freedom I had created for myself. I could go volunteer at my kids' kinder, go to get a massage or enjoy a long lunch and work my own hours.
Now I'm here to inspire and teach you how to create your own side hustle or business refinishing furniture.
